"About a year ago, I decided to "dust off" retirement and study to take the NCLEX-RN exam. After speaking to Sally Lagerquist, I signed up for the Review for Nurses course on line. This was a great course and I did take the exam and passed. Even though Sally's course explains the type of questions on the exam, and not to try to out think your results as you are taking the test, I was not optimistic when I completed to the test. My passing result was not without a disappointment as California should have entered my first exam state as my testing state.. I was very frustrated by the bureaucracy of my dilemma and thought to contact Sally Lagerquist for some direction. Once again Sally helped me through this situation too. Three months have passed since I passed the NCLEX-RN exam and I finally have my credentials to get back into the nursing field.

"Hello, I just wanted to add my thanks to the list of happy NCLEX preppers. I am an older RN who allowed her license to lapse and planned to return to work. I faced taking the NCLEX exam 37 years after graduating from nursing school and I had not worked in the hospital for 18 years. I enrolled in the 2 month online course, purchased all the testing books, including Davis' NCLEX-RN Success, studied like crazy for 2 months and passed my exam a few weeks ago. Computer stopped after 75 questions and I was the first one finished. At the time I wasn't convinced I had passed, but I was prepared. Review for Nurses preps you for the format of the questions as well as the obscure content of the exam. While I never scored very high on the prep tests (62 to 84% range, with most tests being about 72%), it was obviously sufficient to pass. I'm not sure the NCLEX accurately tests nursing competency, but it's the hoop you have to jump through to get that license. I would highly recommend nurses who have been out of the clinical area and are returning to nursing to take any or all of the preparation products offered by ReviewforNurses.com. My many thanks and gratitude for assisting me through this, and to Sally who encouraged me to press on despite my age and length of time away from the clinical arena. (By the way, once I got my license, I posted my resume online, was contacted by a major hospital in my area and offered a full time job in the OR the next day. I've been hounded by recruiters and have several interviews pending. My confidence has soared. Thanks again).

"Even though the review was only two weeks [on-line] the content was very detailed and concepts were easy to understand. "I PASSED THE NCLEX-RN/June 2008. I remember sitting in my car in Michigan, feeling bad about failing the NCLEX-RN. I said, " Lord send me an angel that could help me". I made a call to someone who work in my state department. I said, " I don't know what to do. Do I study the material I have all over again?" The lady that answered the phone gave me a women's number all the way in California. Her name was Prof. Sally Lagerquist. I called her and she sounded like an angel from heaven. She listen to everything I said without interruptions. After, I stop talking she asked me a few questions and stated, " I believe I can help you". She asked me if I had my test results in front of me and I said yes. She explained to me each performance content area of my test, and said I believe you need to understand THEORY, and not just answer questions.
